1997 saw the first mass-produced and commercially marketed car, the Toyota Prius. It hit the Japanese market first and made a significant impact with it's futuristic styling.

The Prius was slow to take off in the Western World, however, since it's introduction, sales have soared to all time highs and demand is growing rapidly.

With more manufacturers announcing and introducing their Hybrid models, the World will soon be persuaded to take a look at alternative fuel vehicles and Hybrids as gasoline prices soar to all time high levels with higher taxation and as oil becomes more and more scarce. Not to mention the impact Hybrids have an preserving the environment.

The Hybrid Car Company realises this fact and has identified a market to sell both New and Pre-Owned Hybrid vehicles.

What is a Hybrid Vehicle?

The term 'Hybrid' refers to an object or a being that is 'crossed' to produce a unique blend of two factors. In the case of vehicles, we are using two main power sources, the Internal Combustion Engine and an Electrical Power Unit.

Hybrid vehicles have been introduced to have a dramatic effect on the environment by cutting down on the Carbon Dioxide emissions produced by a traditional internal combustion engine.

The Hybrid Vehicle utilizes both gasoline power and electrical power to produce a driving experience that is similar to a traditional combustion engine with the efficiency, economy and environmental friendliness of an electric motor.

Why We Do What We Do

We care about the Earth. Simply put, but true. The Earth's natural resources are running out. The ozone layer has a dirty great hole in it. The rain forests are being cut down, the Polar Ice cap is melting, coastlines are eroding, nature is slowly, but surely dying.

Yeah, you've heard it all before, but it's not going to go away. It might not get out of hand in your life time, but your children, your grandchildren, their grandchildren and so on WILL be affected.

Hybrid cars are here to stay. They're not flash in the pan and their popularity is rising. Mercedes Benz, Audi, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Ford, Volvo, Porsche, Volkswagen. These leading manufacturers are all producing Hybrid vehicles and they are to hit the market before 2010. Is that proof enough?
